First Aid Certification Only (Blended Course)
Blended Class
Length of Class: up to .5 hours
Includes: Adult Child and Infant training
Certification: American Heart Association Two Year Certification
Course Meets: Medical, State, Federal and OSHA Requirements
The Blended American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid course is designed to teach students First Aid for victims of all ages, relief of choking and a variety of issue like bloody nose, cuts, heart attack, stroke, heat exhaustion, etc. Instruction is given on recognition of life threatening emergencies and basic First Aid techniques. It is available to anyone desiring, or required, to obtain the knowledge and skills taught at this level. Upon successful completion of skills demonstration, students will receive their Heartsaver® First Aid course completion card which is valid for two years.
Part 1, American Heart Association online course
- Students are emailed access to course work to be completed on the American Heart Association website. Students work at their own pace. Once the student has completed all course work, the student prints the course completion certificate to give to his instructor for Part 2. Part 1 should take about 2 hours to complete but students can work on small sections at a time and complete the course over several days if they choose.
Part 2, Hands-on skills practice session with an Authorized AHA Instructor

On-Site availability:
- Wednesdays: 8:30 am - 12:00pm
- Saturdays: 12:30 pm - 3:00pm
- Sundays: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

REFUND & LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Blended courses require an eLearning keycode/URL to access the online portion of the course that will be assigned to you. You will be sent an email for course confirmation and once, either
- We receive confirmation to proceed OR;
- It has been 24 hours since confirmation email has been sent out (we will assume that course is confirmed),
we will send you an eLearning keycode. Once keycode/URL is assigned it cannot be refunded.

Late Arrival Policy
If you are attending a live class and are more than 15 minutes late, you will be not be admitted into class and you must reschedule (a reschedule fee of $15 will apply).
